Kent Stallan

Kent is an accomplished classical organist and pianist and has served a number of churches in the Toronto area with his talents. He has also had the priveledge of playing some of the premiere pipe organ installations in the world and is trained and experienced in pipe organ service, tuning and repair.

Kent began his technical carreer installing and repairing pipe organs and later attended and graduated from the Piano Technology program at George Brown College where he was mentored by Ted Sambell (Glenn Gould's technician) and later by Don Stephenson (Stratford Festival, piano & harpsichord). He also enjoyed a time in the employ of the Canadian Nickelodeon Company building and servicing player pianos and orchestrions.

Over his career Kent has tuned thousands of pianos from residential spinets to the concert grands at large venues. He has also performed major service work including many dozens of total piano rebuilds.
